 "Misrepresented" 2010-02-03
By Leah Quezada (Sacramento, CA)
This is the second time I've ordered this product and both times have gotten the wrong item. I receive "Grid Dobby Thermaback" panels with stickers over the name that say "Antibes Thermaback". They are NOT Antibes. They don't have that nice floral/paisley pattern, they have an ugly grid pattern. Ordering through Amazon or [...] produces the same result - it could be an error with the manufacturer.

Don't buy - what's pictured is not what you will get!

 "DO NOT WASH!" 2010-02-16
By Mommy in Maine (Maine)
We purchased these curtains to help with heating costs. Like anything else, when it comes home I wash it. When I washed these they fell apart. Even following the directions printed on the label. The backing flaked off and left a residue all over the fabric. They do work well for insulating, but the dust created every time we open and close is almost not worth it.

These truly are blackout curtains. No light will come through these. They are velvet, but a bit stiff and don't hang gracefully. Not a deal breaker though. I wish they were just a bit wider too.

"Wish I could get wrinkles out" 2009-10-24
By Kara A. Sullivan
I was so happy to find some blackout curtains that were a light color and they really do block out light; I feel like I looked everywhere before finding these (and the cost here was very reasonable). My only issue with them is that I cannot get the wrinkles completely out from the way they were folded in their packaging. I have ironed them; I guess I could take them to the dry cleaners to see if they could.

 "A Real Blackout curtain" 2009-06-22
By Travelbug25 (Long Island, NY)
This window curtain REALLY blocks out the light. It's casual, easy to hang on the rod pocket. Lightly iron, but looks great!
